I've always been a thrill seeker — pushing the limits and embracing a challenge. In the snow, on the court, in the studio.
Today, as an industrial designer, I'm driven by curiosity and a desire to improve everyday life through design. I find the problems — observing, exploring widely, and pushing ideation beyond conventional limits.
Combining imagination with emerging technologies, I turn concepts into real, usable products. Even the smallest solutions can make a huge impact — life a little easier, giving people more time to spend really living.
Start with the verb. If you can't describe the job, you can't design the tool.
Hierarchy is a budget. Nothing is important if everything is.
Motion is meaning. An interface that moves badly thinks badly.
Ship, observe, soften. The first version is always a question.
Roles, studies, and a few things that changed how I work.
Beijing, China — Contributed to automotive product design across concept and refinement stages, supporting interior/exterior proposals with CAD modeling and cross-functional reviews.
Pasadena, CA — Selected as one of fourteen students to design a performance footwear concept for the 2028 LA Olympics. Built functional prototypes addressing material innovation and biomechanics.
ArtCenter College of Design — Supported instruction in advanced workflows (SolidWorks, KeyShot, 3D printing) and gave one-on-one feedback during critiques.
Shanghai, China — Contributed to automotive product design across concept and refinement stages with CAD modeling and cross-functional engineering alignment.
Shanghai, China — Competitive analysis and positioning research for automotive interiors and exteriors. Produced presentations, renderings, and design documentation.
Pasadena, CA — Industrial and product design with an emphasis on performance innovation, biomechanics, and advanced manufacturing.
